  • Yes, most buildings lock after 5 pm – but it depends on the building. Some buildings lock as late as 10 pm (i.e., Clark bldg).
  • All buildings are locked on the weekends.

Q) Where to safely dispose of used batteries?

There are various small “USED BATTERY RECYCLING” containers around campus, including:

  • CHE bldg. just outside Room 2115 (entrance to the ChBE Dept. Office)
Q) Do we have access to free software/programs at UMD?

Yes, for PC, Mac, or Linux! This includes Adobe PDF, Photoshop, Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SolidWorks, and more. More details here.
