The Materials Science and Engineering Graduate Society (MSGS) aims to bring students, from the Materials Science department as well as other departments, together socially and academically. Undergrads are welcome as well. If you are interested in Materials Science and want to know about the different research, as well as socialize with your peers then please join us at one of our meetings. MSGS is a graduate society organized in February, 2006 and is an active Materials Research Society (MRS) chapter. To keep this distinction we are required to have at least 5 MRS members at any given time. Contact an officer or visit the MRS website if you want to become a MRS member.

The MSGS Lounge is located in 2126 Chem/Nuc. This is available to MSGS members and guests to use at their discretion within accordance to the UMD Code of Student Conduct.
